Is hemp environmentally friendly and how?

Hemp is the most eco friendly of all the fibers that are generally grown. This is due to the fact that unlike other fiber bearing plants, hemp does not require a huge amount of pesticide to its sustenance. It is therefore regarded as the most eco friendly of al the plants. Cotton, for example requires a large amount of pesticide that are usually spread to evade of the insects that may attack the plant. Since a huge amount of herbicide is applied, the fibers tend to absorb some of the pesticides. Due to this reason, the person who wears the cloth made up of cotton tends to have an infection from these pesticides.

Hemp on the other hand grows easily on natural water logged areas and therefore does not require any irrigation. Since the hemp plants develop gregariously, they do not require any pruning. The hemp plant has another advantage to the rest. It does not let any weeds to develop. Therefore, hemp is pest resistant. For this reason, people generally develop hemp and use hemp fibers for their specialty. The hemp fibers are longer and lasts more than any other ordinary fibers. This makes hemp the best choice for people.
